Board accepts FY2025 audit and continues work on FY2027 county budget

Auditors from Hacker, Nelson & Co. presented the FY2025 audit; the Board accepted the FY2025 Financial Report and continued work on the FY2027 budget. The Visiting Nurses presentation was rescheduled.
Amanda Webb, CPA, and Bobbi Vierow, CPA, of Hacker, Nelson & Co., P.C. presented the county’s FY2025 audit review at the March 17 meeting. Following the presentation, Supervisor Ray Peterson moved and Supervisor Steve Doeppke seconded to accept and place on file the FY2025 Financial Report; the motion carried with Supervisors Doeppke, Peterson and Reimer voting aye.
The Board spent time working on the FY2027 County Budget during the meeting; the transcript records deliberation and budget work but does not include final budget votes or adopted numbers. The Visiting Nurses’ update that had been expected was rescheduled and will need to be placed on a future agenda.
