The Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors approved routine business at its June 1 meeting, including adoption of the meeting agenda, approval of the May 26 minutes, and approval of county claims. Supervisor Chris Watts moved to approve claims, with Vice Chairman Carl Ginapp seconding; the motions passed unanimously.
Vice Chairman Carl Ginapp moved, with Supervisor Chris Watts seconding, to rescind a $20,000 allocation previously set aside for grant support and reallocate those funds to pay an invoice for tree removal at the fairgrounds; the motion passed unanimously. The board also approved fireworks permits for Sandra Paulsen and for Lucky’s Last Resort.
Chairman Casey Callanan adjourned the meeting at 10:24 a.m. The transcript records that County Engineer Brandon Billings provided an update earlier in the session but does not include details of that update.
