Committee approves event premise extensions and fireworks permit for July 4 celebration

Alderman Chuck Bloom moved the event-related approvals and votes were seconded and carried unanimously, 4-0. The St. Dominic license lists Agent Michael Ricci and named bartenders. The Elbow Room approval includes a 30x50 tent on the east side of the building; Alderman Tom Szews raised concerns about hours and noise for multiple dates but the motion passed 4-0. Bobby’s Bar’s temporary extension includes a 40x80 tent on the parking lot and was approved with the listed contact Bob Meuler. The fireworks permit lists dusk (approx. 8:45 p.m.) on July 4 with a rain date of July 5 and contact Patrick W. Spielbauer.
