Beaver Area School District SRO five-year contract finalized, borough says

Borough Manager and Chief of Police Dan Madgar reported Sept. 23 that the five-year school resource officer (SRO) contract with the Beaver Area School District has been finalized. Madgar said the Western Beaver School District SRO contract remains forthcoming and that staff will bring quotes for wildlife removal to council for consideration.
Madgar provided this update as part of the manager’s report, which also listed upcoming paving, community events and public workshops. There was no formal vote or further discussion on the SRO contract at the work session.
Next steps: staff will continue working on the Western Beaver SRO contract and bring any required documentation or quotes to a future meeting.
