Angela, speaking for city staff, explained the council’s role: “The Trenton DDA is in the process of updating our TIF/development plan and in order to do that we have to form a nine-member Development Area Citizens Council which contains nine Trenton residents that live within the DDA district. So they're only usually activated when we ever need to update the plan.” She said the council will meet as needed to review proposed changes, such as streetscape projects, and provide resident input.
The clerk recorded the roll call for the appointments: Benadetti — yes; Kavowatan — yes; Hornbeck — yes; Peruji — yes; Rodriguez — yes; Brazepa — abstain; Bon Krooks — yes. The motion passed.
