The Colts Neck Township Board of Education formally opened its Jan. 7 reorganization meeting, administered oaths of office to three newly certified trustees and elected its leadership for the year.
Business administrator and temporary chair Vincent Morasco announced Mammoth County's certification of the Nov. 4 school election and called forward Phyllis Camera, Angelique Vulpi and Richard Wickberg to be sworn in. A New Jersey attorney administered the oaths; all three pledged to support the constitutions of the United States and New Jersey and to faithfully perform the duties of the office.
Within the assembled quorum, members nominated and elected Angelique Vulpi as board president and Phyllis Camera as vice president by roll-call votes. The recorded roll calls showed unanimous support from present members for both officer elections.
Following officer elections the board read and signed the ten-point School Board Code of Ethics; members were asked to sign copies for the district file with the business administrator.
