District IT warns of failed virtual host; recommends $18,000 hybrid rebuild

Board members asked for a technical health assessment and requested that IT provide vulnerability and status details that are appropriate to share publicly. IT staff said they can provide a security-aware health report to the board and will coordinate follow-up communication on timing and procurement.
The board approved the administrative recommendation to proceed under existing budget authority and asked IT to return with a timeline for completion and documentation of backup/resilience improvements.
