The Colts Neck Township School District board of education approved routine reorganization and consent items and carried a slate of administrative and personnel motions at its May 21 reorganization meeting.
The board approved a consent agenda that reorganized items 1–28 by roll call. Subsequent motions to approve minutes and grouped superintendent, curriculum, finance and personnel items passed by affirmative roll calls with members present voting yes. The superintendent's block of action items 1–4, curriculum items 1–4, and finance items 1–6 were approved without recorded opposition. Personnel items 1–20 passed unanimously except where noted: one board member (Mr. Regetta) disclosed an employment conflict with the New Jersey Department of Labor and recused himself from two personnel items referenced in the roll call. The board highlighted a policy decision to fully fund the Summerbridge summer program at no cost to families while maintaining the district's stated 0% tax increase; the board welcomed new teacher Ashley Marino (Conover Road Elementary).
