Before routine committee business the Colts Neck Board of Education held a spring celebration recognizing student achievement and staff excellence.
Conover Road Primary School principal Trisha Bar and assistant principal Mary Milano presented the principal’s awards to a large group of second graders for characteristics such as caring, leadership and perseverance; each student’s name and a short description of the traits that led to the award were read and the group took photos with board members.
Cedar Drive Middle School honored top performers in the Continental Math League and the AMC8; Dr. Colin Rigby introduced Mrs. Delia, the math interventionist, who read top‑score lists across grades and noted that one student tied for a regional first‑place finish. The board also recognized high‑honor roll students for the third marking period.
The district announced teacher and education‑service professional awards (Teacher/ESP of the Year recipients) across its schools and acknowledged long‑serving staff members for their contributions.
Administrators and board members emphasized community pride and thanked staff, parents and volunteers for their roles in student learning and extracurricular activities.
