In the director’s report, staff said the power cost adjustment for the month was effectively zero and reviewed personnel updates: John Houseman has started as key accounts coordinator (introduced earlier in the meeting) and Leilani Castile has accepted the community engagement and marketing manager position and began work recently. The director promoted upcoming community events — Strawberry Fest (June 12), Hopsson Monroe (summer food/truck series) and the farmers market (starting June 27) — and clarified that recent Consumers Energy rate changes do not affect Cold Water rates.
Board members discussed and then agreed to reschedule the next regular meeting to July 7 at 5:00 p.m. because several members were unavailable on the previously proposed date; with no further business the meeting was closed.
