Board honors 11 retirees whose combined service totals more than two centuries

Superintendent McMahon and board members read the retirees’ names and years of service, noting the group’s long tenure in local education. McMahon said the group represents “282 years of service in education and 225 years to Milan,” and trustees offered personal remarks about individual contributions, with several board members thanking Molly Jeepson for her co‑teaching work at Paddock and others noting long tenures in nursing, transportation and student services.
The board moved, seconded and approved a resolution of thanks; retirees were invited to the front of the room for handshakes and recognition. The board and superintendent expressed appreciation for their service and encouraged retirees to stay in touch.
