The board also reviewed a rezoning request from the Lemon Springs Volunteer Fire Department to reclassify a 1.39-acre site at 1138 Greenwood Road from residential-agricultural to highway-commercial to permit an expansion of the existing station. The planning board again recommended approval as reasonable and in the public interest to allow the volunteer fire station to expand.
