Walworth County Historical Society thanks board, highlights Webster House Museum

Pat Blackmer, a board member of the Walworth County Historical Society, addressed the Walworth County Board during the meeting’s public comment period to extend the society’s gratitude for ongoing county support. "The Walworth County Board of Supervisors and the WCHS have had a longstanding partnership since 1904," she said.
Blackmer described the Webster House Museum as "the only fully accredited historic landmark in Walworth County listed on the National Register of Historic Places," noted the society’s mission to collect, preserve and share the county’s history, and thanked the board for its role in preserving and maintaining the museum. She also described the WCHS headquarters and the society’s role in serving local, state and national communities.
No board action was taken in response to the comment; the remarks were recorded in the minutes for the Jan. 13 meeting.
