Ozman requested the work as part of routine spring maintenance; the Council authorized staff to proceed and to publish the tar-and-chip route on the county website. Councilman Kramer moved the measure and Councilman Nichols seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The approval covers materials, contractor costs and associated work under the identified contract with American Paving Fabrics. No additional funding sources or amendments to the FY26 budget were described in the public record. The county will provide route details online to inform residents about temporary closures or restrictions.
