Deputy Mayor Nijjar said the office also applied for an additional $180,000 under the next (52nd year) grant. She reported one resident has come forward to apply for residential rehab funds; the village is still determining whether that resident qualifies for assistance.
The grant was discussed in the Clerk’s Office report; the minutes do not identify specific project addresses or timelines for disbursement. The Village indicated funds will support improvements tied to Marcus Christ Hall opening and an ADA bathroom at Nuzzi Park.
