The Cascade County Board of Health on May 6, 2026, approved the minutes from its April 1 meeting and heard monthly reports from multiple divisions of the county health department.
Vice-Chair Laurie Glover called the meeting to order and confirmed a quorum. Board member Heather Hoyer moved to approve the April 1, 2026 minutes; Matt Martin seconded and the motion was approved unanimously. The board noted that the minutes will be officially approved at the June 13, 2026 meeting as recorded in the meeting notice.
Staff presenters delivered routine updates: Trisha Gardner gave the Administrative Division report; Trista Besich presented the Finance Division monthly financials; Ellie Crabtree summarized Family Health Services activities; Rhonda Knudsen delivered the Environmental Health Division status report; and Lenore Harris provided Prevention Services updates with Sarah Cozino reporting on communicable disease matters. Board members asked clarifying questions following several presentations.
No members of the public offered comment during the public-comment period. Vice-Chair Glover adjourned the meeting at 12:20 p.m.
