Finance Director Lucas Dahling informed the board the Finance Department had received notice of a proposed Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District No. 2-1 from the City of Kenyon; staff distributed the information to the board for review and noted the Kenyon City Council, not the county, will decide whether to adopt the TIF. The board approved a motion to set a public hearing on technical corrections to the Goodhue County Cannabis Ordinance for June 16, 2026.
The board also approved county claims totaling $979,260.66 across multiple funds, with the minutes listing the dollar amounts by fund and the motion recorded as carried 5-0. The meeting concluded with committee updates and adjournment.
