At its Aug. 5 meeting the Ouachita Parish Police Jury adopted multiple resolutions and authorized a utility servitude.
Resolution No. 24-37 reappointed Patrick L. Spencer to the Board of Commissioners of Hospital Service District No. 1 for a six-year term beginning Aug. 7, 2024. Resolution No. 24-38 appointed Wade Hathaway and Mark Pullin to the Lakeshore Subdivision Sewerage District No. 1. Resolution No. 24-39 appointed Joycie Stewart to the Citizen’s Advisory Committee on Solid Waste Disposal upon recommendation of the District D juror.
The Jury also adopted Resolution No. 24-40 authorizing a utility servitude across a portion of Lot 47 of Extension No. 1 of Cypress Lake Subdivision to Greater Ouachita Water Company Inc. for the purpose of extending a water line from Finks Hideaway Road to Joe White Road; the Police Jury President was authorized to execute requisite documents.
All motions for these resolutions and the servitude were recorded as adopted on Aug. 5, 2024.
