Cabell County Commission approves routine agenda, property sales and Army Corps Right‑of‑Entry

The commission authorized a Right-of-Entry agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Huntington District) for the Lower Mud Flood Risk Management Project to allow a Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) investigation on county property. On personnel matters, the commission approved three EMT appointments — Jessica Chey-Ann Dalton (full-time), Joseph Jeremy Diamond (per diem) and Nathan Christian Petty (full-time) — and approved the reclassification of Amanda Manning to full-time EMT. Financial and administrative actions approved at the meeting included purchase orders #21-101139 through #21-101311, monthly fuel-card payments to Fifth Third, and a handwritten check to Unum & Guardian for $19,927.60.
