Hunter said the project is currently estimated to be "a little bit over $3,000,000" and that CRC would receive grant‑administration funds if the application is awarded. The board approved proceeding with the contract; the grant application is due in September.
Separately, county GIS staff requested approval for CRC to continue providing regional addressing services and training. The board approved a one‑year addressing contract for $53,000, which staff said covers maintenance of the addressing database used by the county’s 9‑1‑1 system and regional partners (the contract excludes the city of Hinesville).
