At its May 20 meeting the Uptown Butte BID approved production of 20,000 maps, advanced planning for a façade improvement grant program, and authorized additional public-realm purchases and events.
Cassie Wick moved and Maisie Sulser seconded a motion to order 20,000 Uptown Butte maps printed on 80# paper; the motion carried unanimously. Shanna Adams reported that draft language for a Façade Improvement Grant Program has been prepared and will be sent to the relevant committee for review; the board plans to vote on the program at its next meeting.
The board noted the BID website is nearing completion and is expected to soft-launch the following week. The next community clean-up event was scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 5:30 PM. The board approved ordering an additional 10 garbage cans, bringing the total number of new cans to 20; Cassie Wick will coordinate signage and work with Tillo Graphics to obtain a bid, and Butte-Silver Bow will anchor the cans.
Housekeeping motions from the meeting included unanimous approval of the agenda (motion by Mike Potts, seconded by Maisie Sulser) and of the May 6, 2026 meeting minutes (motion by Jeff Riggs, seconded by Matt Stajcar). No public comment was recorded. The board scheduled a June 3 meeting to address bylaws, the Executive Director discussion and other items.
