The Uptown Butte Business Improvement District Board established board member term limits at its May 20, 2026 meeting in the Thornton Building.
The board recorded term assignments effective September 2025: Maisie Sulser for a 1-year term; Mike Potts and Azhar Bougary for 2-year terms; Cassie Wick and Shanna Adams for 3-year terms; and Jeff Riggs and Matt Stajcar for 4-year terms. The minutes state that the board "discussed and established" the limits but do not list who moved or seconded the action or provide a vote tally.
Why it matters: Term limits change how frequently turnover occurs on the BID board and will affect upcoming elections, succession planning and which positions are up for reappointment or replacement. Board members indicated they will discuss governance and related bylaws at upcoming meetings.
The board directed that further governance items, including a vote to adopt bylaws, be placed on the agenda for the June 3, 2026 meeting. No public comments were recorded on the item.
