Commission approves two minor plans, accepts bank lot-line revision and recommends La Roche land transfer

The McCandless planning commission handled several routine land‑use items on June 2 in addition to the larger Harmony Manor and Hyundai matters.
The commission recommended approval of the Burke consolidation plan (PLC‑26‑13), a minor subdivision that merges two parcels; staff identified only minor textual comments. The body also recommended council approval of a small lot‑line revision (PLC‑26‑12) that allows SSB Bank to acquire 0.181 acres for maintenance and parking; staff noted a potential unverified storm‑sewer outlet on GIS mapping that required no immediate plan change.
Separately, the commission recommended Town Council approve a minor subdivision (PLC‑26‑15) that transfers about 14.5 acres from the Sisters of Divine Providence to La Roche University. The applicant provided a declaration of reciprocal easements for utilities and access; the town solicitor and applicant said the declaration would be recorded concurrent with the plat, and the commission recorded its recommendation conditioned on that recording.
All three items were presented by applicant representatives (Brooks/Smith; James Wilkinson of Tint Engineering) and passed on motions from the commission.
