The town manager said the plan is large and digital distribution is preferred; a board member noted the file is roughly 391 pages and asked for time to read it. Huber replied the plan is posted on the county website and that she would send the link and the signature sheet.
Why it matters: municipal adoption or formal acknowledgement of the county plan preserves eligibility for certain federal mitigation and hazard-prevention grants. Towns that do not adopt the updated plan may be at risk of reduced access to some funding streams for projects such as culvert replacements and road-raising projects discussed during the presentation.
