Trustees questioned long-term volatility and whether the village should prioritize 100% green energy; one trustee urged continuing 100% green for 12 months while others favored the 24-month MC Squared proposal as a balance of price and stability.
President Douglas Pollack called for a motion to approve an ordinance authorizing renewal of the aggregation using MC Squared’s 24-month proposal. The motion passed on roll call and the ordinance was approved; staff will receive updates from the consultant next year per a trustees’ request.
