The Hampton Planning Commission elected its leadership during the Feb. 19 meeting: Kathy Rogers was elected chair and Martha Mugler elected vice-chair.
Commissioner Trina Coleman moved for the slate, and Commissioner Brian DeProfio seconded. The roll call vote was AYES: Keisha Samuels, Joe Griffith, Kathy Rogers, Trina Coleman, Martha Mugler and Brian DeProfio; Commissioner Tracy Brooks was absent. Vice-Chair Rogers had been discussed as a likely candidate during the earlier work session; commissioners noted Rogers may miss the next meeting and that the elected vice-chair may need to preside in her absence.
The election followed a work session that included training from Assistant City Attorney Cory Wolfe on the Commission's duties and procedures.
