Meeting canceled for lack of quorum; public asked to submit comments on Prohibition Point liquor permit

"If anyone in the audience was here to speak to liquor permit that is being sought by Prohibition Point at 22 And A Half East Scioto Street, if you could submit written comments to the office this week, it'd be appreciated," the committee member said, noting the need to get back to the Department of Commerce by the June 12 deadline.

Officials asked members about availability for a special meeting, with the presiding official offering dates this week and noting personal constraints: "Unless it's tomorrow or Friday, I'm out." No formal vote or action on the liquor application took place because the meeting lacked a quorum.

The presiding official closed by apologizing for the inconvenience and saying the office will send notifications through the app and post the next meeting date on the website.
