Richardson asked the Board for an advocate to work with Habitat for Humanity and county housing staff (HCD) to resolve the dispute and move the repair forward. He described his mother as elderly and said the foundation problem is visible to inspectors.
The committee said it could not take action on a non‑agendized item during the meeting but asked staff to gather more information after the session and to follow up with him.
The comment was the only public speaker for non‑agendized items on the meeting agenda.
