Board approves several right-of-way documents and settlements for 49th North and 1st Street projects; tables intersection design

The Bonneville County Public Works board approved multiple land-acquisition and administrative items for ongoing road projects and tabled further discussion of a separate intersection design.
Board members voted to approve right-of-way documents added to the agenda for partial Parcel 37 on the 49th North widening project and subsequently approved right-of-way documents for partial Parcel 38 and for partials 3 and 4 of the same widening project. "So, personal 37 on 49th" was presented and a motion to approve the administrative packet for that parcel carried by voice vote.
The board also approved administrative settlement agreements for Parcel 24 and Parcel 26 related to the 1st Street widening project; motions were made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Staff provided an update on other outstanding partials (39, 41, 42, 43 and 45), noting Intermountain Gas is involved with partial 43 and its lawyers are handling negotiations. Jake Robinson of MPS said the firm is working with Rocky Mountain Power on an easement for an existing parcel to avoid delays.
Separately, staff introduced a design proposal for a potential roundabout at the 73rd South intersection (15th and 73rd South). The item was discussed as a non-action informational item and a board member moved to table the proposal until next week's meeting; the motion to table passed.
The approvals move several parcels forward in the county's right-of-way acquisition and allow administrative settlement agreements to proceed; no new funding authorizations for the temporary sewer bypass were made during the meeting.
