Upstate Kayak Rentals (UKR) has proposed two options to attach a kayak storage system and rental kiosk to the existing Ballston Lake dock using locking pins and a kayak rental kiosk secured to the dock surface.
Chair Bill Bechtel asked for a UKR representative to appear at the next Parks & Rec committee meeting on June 24 to give a brief presentation and respond to questions. Rob Fendrick said he will contact Donna at UKR and invite her to that meeting.
The committee did not make a decision on the proposal at the May 20 meeting and asked for the company to present details and answer questions at the June 24 meeting.
