The BH Rotary pledged $3,000 toward project expenses, and the committee said it will present the plan to the Town Board at its next meeting for final approval.
The proposed plan calls for low-maintenance plants and trees intended to reduce long-term upkeep. The project was issued for competitive bid under the Town of Ballston’s procurement policy and North Side Landscaping was the only respondent.
Committee members discussed funding and next steps; subcommittee assignments list Amy Jones, Lauren Kritz and Lynnette Ziskin as contacts for Town Corner Park implementation. The committee did not record a public comment opposing the award. The Town Board will consider the project at its next scheduled meeting.
