The Logansport Municipal Building Corporation convened a short session and approved the minutes from its previous meeting before accepting the treasurer's report and adjourning.
The Chair called the meeting to order and conducted a roll call that recorded Jacob Pommasil, Mike Sims and Dave Morris as present. The Chair then moved to approve the minutes of the last meeting; a member seconded the motion and the minutes were approved by roll call.
Ross, the treasurer, reported a previous balance of $37,420.98 and said the corporation had paid a single check for mowing, in the amount of $160. "The previous balance was $37,420.98," Ross said. The Chair moved to accept the treasurer's report and the motion carried.
Members briefly discussed scheduling the next meeting, tentatively a Friday in September at 10:00 a.m., and confirmed there was no public comment on the agenda. After recording no further business, the Chair moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded and the meeting ended.
Participants spent a portion of the pre-meeting time talking informally about local items — including a new county garage project (referred to in the meeting as a roughly $12,000,000 job) and concerns about contaminated lots near a battery factory — but those remarks were conversational and were not placed on the meeting agenda.
The meeting was adjourned with no further votes or items scheduled for action.
