The commission also approved hiring April Franklin as a full‑time Home Confinement Officer, effective Oct. 16, 2017, at an annual salary of $28,000.
Other actions recorded on Oct. 12 include adoption of the Cabell County Financial Statement for FY2016/2017 and approval of State Budget Revision #4 (Sheriff reimbursement revision); both measures passed by unanimous vote. Commissioners also approved placing on record the monthly statement of the assessor for September 2017 and appointed William H. (Skip) Edwards II to the Cabell/Wayne Local Emergency Planning Committee.
