The Brookline Selectboard on April 22 agreed to pursue mediation after receiving a letter from Primex asking to mediate reimbursement of certain expenses related to the Brookline Woods workforce housing lawsuit.
Selectboard members noted the Zoning Board of Adjustment recently approved a variance tied to the Workforce Housing ordinance and that the ZBA will meet May 8 at 7:30 p.m. to consider additional variances for the growth ordinance and an ordinance requiring covered parking for housing for older persons.
The board did not detail reimbursement amounts in the minutes and recorded a consensus to move forward with mediation rather than litigation at this meeting. No vote tally was provided in the minutes beyond the board’s agreement to pursue mediation.
