Executive Secretary Nioka Hall told the commission on June 3 that Owen Miller will serve as interim director of planning while the city conducts a search for a permanent director. Hall also reported a Board of Zoning Appeals approval (SE2026-1) for a reduced-frontage single-family lot and said there were no applications scheduled for the commission's June 17 meeting.
Commissioner Taylor moved to forego the June 17 meeting, a motion seconded and approved by voice vote. The commission noted it will reconvene on July 15 and expects to review the Jefferson Avenue plan at that time.
