The Mount Arlington Borough Council approved a set of routine resolutions Dec. 16, including revenue-and-appropriation requests, transfers, check register approval and shared‑service agreements.
Resolutions approved included: - 2025-145: Requesting approval of items of revenue and appropriation (N.J.S.A. 40A:4-87). - 2025-146: Approving transfer of funds. - 2025-147: Approving the check register dated Dec. 16, 2025. - 2025-148: Authorizing execution of a shared‑services contract with the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority for recycling services. - 2025-149: Executing a shared‑service agreement with Jefferson Township for animal pound/shelter services. - 2025-150: Authorizing issuance of towing licenses for Jan. 1–Dec. 31, 2026.
The council also approved Resolution 2025-152 to enter executive session to discuss contract negotiations; the session ran from 7:28 p.m. to 7:59 p.m. All routine resolutions were adopted by roll call with no recorded opposition.
Votes: Most consent items were moved or called by Council President Delaney or the presiding motion-maker noted in the record and carried unanimously. The council adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
