Prattville council approves rezoning, park restroom renovation and equipment purchases; all votes unanimous

- Budget amendment to ratify purchase of a 40-foot pre-lit Christmas tree from Display Sales at a cost not to exceed $28,000 (funded via a prior refund and the performing and creative arts capital outlay line).
The council created and adopted a consent agenda containing 12 routine items including multiple authorizations to affix costs for removal of garbage and rubbish at listed addresses and abatement authorizations under Chapter 46 of the City of Prattville Code of Ordinances. The consent agenda was adopted by voice/hand-raise and recorded as unanimous.
Procedure and votes: Motions to create and adopt the consent agenda were moved by Councilor Jackson and seconded by Councilor Newman; adopt/approval motions on other items were seconded by council colleagues and carried unanimously.
