The Architects Review Board approved two routine applications on Nov. 13 to convert existing parking spaces to electric-vehicle charging stalls. Chris presented both sites — 531 Montauk Highway (Gansett Green Affordable Housing) in Amagansett and 316 Acabonic Road (Acabonic Apartments) in East Hampton — and said the work involves signage, painted pavement markings and charging stanchions with no change to parking layout or significant architectural alteration.
Board members described both submissions as consistent with prior, similar approvals and moved to approve them as presented. The approvals were granted at the meeting with routine "Aye" votes; no substantive conditions were attached beyond standard ARB comments about siting and screening.
