"He has graciously given us an easement to this pipe in Long Avenue if we will vacate the rest of the streets and alleys," Adam Frizzell said during the committee discussion. Committee members asked McKeever's and Associates for exact measurements and asked staff to prepare the ordinance language so the matter can proceed through required reviews.
Why it matters: The committee described the parcels as unbridged and relatively small — the streets named for the proposed vacation include Sherman, Teddy (Plumb) and Lawn and the associated alleys — and said vacating them is part of clearing title and accommodating future plans for that property.
