Nicholas Cortidis, speaking for the applicant, said the varied post heights and fence fittings respond to topography at the gate mouth. Board members examined photos, survey lines and measurements and noted the property is set well back from Ashwood Court and largely invisible from public vantage points.
The board’s motion explicitly approved the existing 6‑foot tall gate, one post at 6 feet 8 inches and the other at 7 feet 3 inches (the uneven post heights driven by grade), plus the attached white AZEK fence and trailing chain‑link fence noted in the survey. The board recorded that the remote siting and visibility (more than 50 feet from the pavement) weighed in favor of approval; staff recorded the specifics for the CO inspection.
No member objected; the motion passed unanimously. Staff will document the exact approved dimensions in the resolution and notify the building department as part of the CO procedure.
