Bayside Architectural Review Committee approves three residential exterior projects

The committee reviewed and approved three separate homeowner applications. At 9115 North Bayside Drive, homeowners John and Kristina Bruggeman and designer Logan Harp presented a plan to remove an existing shed and construct a 196-square-foot replacement in the southwest corner of the lot. Mr. Harp said there would be no electricity "at this time," and that Mrs. Bruggeman made a decorative sign they plan to hang on the new shed. Trustee Ben Minkin moved to approve the project as presented; Committee Member Kirsten Hildebrand seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
At 8449 North Lake Drive, Benjamin and Lauren Keren proposed a 798-square-foot second-floor addition. Committee Member Marisa Roberts asked about the proposed railing, and Mr. Keren said it "will match the existing railing on the first floor." Committee Member Christine Duback confirmed the existing first-floor brick would remain. Trustee Ben Minkin moved to approve the project with modifications described in the application — a 175 lineal-foot adjustment and the addition of a structural vertical piece — and Committee Member Duback seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
At 9215 North Pelham Parkway, homeowner Jeremy Bennett described a 250-square-foot second-floor addition with siding and windows to match the existing residence. Chairperson John Krampf moved to approve the project as presented; Committee Member Marisa Roberts seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The committee adjourned at 5:12 p.m. following the approvals. The minutes record each motion as "carried unanimously," but do not provide a numerical vote tally for the approvals.
