The Hamilton County Community Corrections Advisory Board unanimously approved several maintenance and software-license items and affirmed its existing purchasing threshold at its April 2 meeting.
Kevin Mulroony, Executive Director, presented contracts that are under procurement review and requested board approval for several items. Michelle Corrao moved to approve the March minutes earlier in the meeting; Honorable Andrew Bloch made the motion to approve the minutes and Trampas Whalin seconded it, and the motion passed unanimously.
On new business, the board approved the following at Mulroony's request: - BI Maintenance Agreement (motion by Michelle Corrao; seconded by R. Dan Stevens; passed unanimously). - Bradford Systems Maintenance Agreement (motion by Trampas Whalin; seconded by Holly Green-Jones; passed unanimously). - Faronics license renewals (motion by Trampas Whalin; seconded by Joshua Kocher; passed unanimously). - Red-lined Purchasing policy (4-ACRS-7D-25), including a decision to retain the $50,000 threshold requiring Advisory Board approval prior to submission to Procurement and the Board of Commissioners (motion by Trampas Whalin; seconded by Joshua Kocher; passed unanimously). - EM Transmitter Range policy (HCCCPolicy-203) (motion by Trampas Whalin; seconded by Steven Nation; passed unanimously).
Board member Steven Nation questioned whether requiring advisory board approval for policies aided efficiency. Mulroony said board review can slow the process but that he preferred the board remain informed; the board agreed to keep the current approval process and the $50,000 threshold.
All recorded motions on the agenda passed without objection. The board adjourned; its next meeting is scheduled for June 4 at noon.
