On compensation, the board approved updated salary schedules: certified staff will receive at least a $1,000 minimum increase with $500 step increases; the presenter said the resulting average district increase is roughly 3.87% with ranges from approximately 2% to about 6% depending on step and degree. The board approved the salary schedules by voice vote.
The board also approved personnel listings and tenure recommendations in the same meeting cycle.
