Board members asked for documentation and neighborhood comparisons. One board member suggested the applicant provide comparables showing other houses with generators in similar locations. The board also asked for a letter from the most-impacted neighbor, confirmation whether an HOA governs the area, and for staff to confirm whether the proposed location meets building-code and manufacturer clearances. Mellollo said the generator is not currently installed and that the homeowner will work on the requested materials.
No motion was made and no vote occurred. The chair recommended the homeowner return at the next meeting with the requested comparables, a neighbor letter and any documentation of building-code compliance. The public hearing remained open.
