Bleckley County Commissioner Mike Davis provided an update from the Joint Development Authority of Bleckley and Dodge County, saying the authority is working to acquire land between the two counties to foster growth.
Davis said the authority is also pursuing a grant to fund water infrastructure to serve the newly acquired land and future development. He framed the efforts as preparatory steps to make the corridor buildable and attractive for investment.
