Waupaca council approves multiple license reports; arcade/amusement devices list passes 8–2

The Waupaca Common Council approved a series of annual license reports at its June 2 meeting, including liquor, fermented malt beverage, operator (bartender) and scrap-dealer licenses. Approvals were conditioned where inspections remained pending.
Council approved the license reports by motion. For the arcade/amusement-devices report (license report 1759), the council conducted a roll-call vote that passed 8–2. The clerk recorded Eric Halverson, Scott Perchatsky, Dave Peterson, Corey Nagel, Eric Olsen, Henry Velacher, Colin Dykstra and Paul Mayo as voting yes; Demetri Martin and Paul Hagen were recorded as voting no.
Council members noted that the list reflects the fiscal-year license cycle and that final approvals are contingent on pending building and health inspections where applicable. "If you do approve this, it would be pending final inspections," the mayor said, and the council approved the reports with that understanding.
Impact: the approvals maintain existing licensure for businesses and operators into the fiscal year that begins July 1; establishments with pending inspections must complete inspections before finalization.
