Planning Commission forwards Silver Spring Storage plan and multiple waivers to Board of Supervisors

John Murphy of Alpha Consulting Engineers presented plans for Silver Spring Storage (2024-2). He reviewed the facility's prior reviews as a text amendment and conditional-use application and said revised plans will be presented to the EMC for review.
On successive motions the Planning Commission forwarded waiver requests to the Board of Supervisors with recommendations for approval (SLDO 303 — Preliminary Plan Application; SLDO 402.03.4 — recorded in minutes as '200 ' of Subject Property'; and SLDO 602.08.1 — vertical curves of access drive). The commission also forwarded the plan to the Board of Supervisors with a recommendation for approval subject to EMC notes and staff and engineering comments; each motion carried. The Board of Supervisors will consider the waivers and the plan at a later meeting.
