Transportation and personnel items approved included the locally adopted safe driver plan (annual review to remain compliant with Florida statute), the 2026 out‑of‑field teacher certification plan, and the 2025–26 final salary schedule. The board approved personnel actions covering supplements, contract renewals and job descriptions.
Procurement recommended and the board approved two aviation donations to Charlotte Technical College: a Schweitzer 269 C‑1 helicopter donated on behalf of the International Defense and Aerospace Group and US Aviation Training Centers Training Solutions, and a Continental Aerospace Technologies helicopter engine valued at $14,000 to support the aviation program. The superintendent recommended acceptance of both donations and the board approved by voice vote.
Vendor agreements approved included Imagine Learning (virtual‑school platform) and Where's the Bus (transportation tracking).
