Commissioner O'Bold urges written feedback as Park County posts development standards update and schedules hearings

Commissioner O'Bold told the commission that the Development Standards & Regulations (DSR) update — including a uses table and new maps and draft chapters 1–4 — has been posted for review and that chapters covering subdivision and administrative rules will follow.
She urged residents to submit written comments and provided the open-house schedule: on the 9th at the Cody Auditorium (9 a.m.–1 p.m.) and later that day at the Powell Fairgrounds (5–8 p.m.); on the 10th at the Clark Recreation Center (9 a.m.–noon) and in Wapiti on the North Fork (5–8 p.m.); and on the 11th in Matitsi (9 a.m.–noon) and on the South Fork (5–8 p.m.). "Please put any comments in writing that you have," Commissioner O'Bold said, adding that staff and consultants will meet attendees at open houses but prefer written input so all feedback can be compiled.
Another commissioner said staff requested a link to the posted materials on the county website to improve public access prior to the meetings. The board did not take formal action on the DSR item at this meeting; the update is in an outreach phase and consultants and staff will compile submitted comments for later consideration.
