Erie County adjusts $1M township road awards to include Oxford projects; Perkins left out

County Administrator Hank Solowiej reported May 18 that the scoring update for the $1 million Township Road Improvement Program reallocated awards so Oxford Township could receive three smaller resurfacing projects. To include those projects the team reduced award amounts originally proposed for Margaretta and Berlin Townships.
Solowiej said the adjustment enabled all submitting townships to receive some funding except Perkins Township, whose submitted project did not score high enough to qualify, and Huron Township, which did not submit an application this year.
The commissioners took no separate vote recorded on the update during the meeting; the administrator distributed the updated scoring sheet and explained the changes during his update on various issues. The board then continued with other agenda business, including procurement items and personnel actions.
